What Stresses You?
Stress-it is a little word with BIG meaning. You’ve probably even heard that stress is a part of daily living.
Daily stressors we may experience are:
Stress of driving through traffic
Stress of making it to work or an appointment on time
Stress from planning special events for our friends and family
There is also stress that we encounter as we transition. Transition is the process of changing from one state or condition to another. We can experience stress as we transition in our marital status: single to married, or married to divorce. We can experience stress as we transition in our finances: plenty to lack, or lack to abundance.
No matter the type of stress we encounter (daily stress or stress from transition). We need an effective plan and system to help us combat, manage, and even ELIMINATE our stressors.
This month I’ll be sharing tools and resources to guide us on our journey of managing stress. As we begin this journey, reflect on the questions below and prepare to lighten your load!
What is your biggest stressor?
What is a NEGATIVE stress habit you have developed? (ex: stress eating, oversleeping, nail biting, etc)
What is one TRANSITION that creates a lot of stress for you?
